     Indian Valley Reservoir is located about 80 miles north of Sacramento at an elevation of 1,480 feet . The lake has a surface area of 3,800 acres and 41 miles of shoreline. Boating is limited to 10 mph and water-skiing and jet-skis are not permitted although swimming is allowed. There is one improved campground and several unimproved campgrounds located at the lake with RV camping available on the south end. Indian Valley holds a wide variety of fish including Trout, catfish, kokanee, bluegill, crappie, largemouth bass, and smallmouth. There is a store located at the lake offering limited supplies, bait, tackle, and groceries. For more information contact Indian Valley Store at (530) 662-0607.
