Bullards Bar Reservoir is located 35 miles east of Marysville in
the beautiful Tahoe National Forest at an elevation of 2,005
feet. Bullards has 55 miles of rugged shoreline with 4,700
surface acres of water. There are several campgrounds located at
the lake suitable for tents, trailers, group camping, or RV's.
All boating and water-skiing is allowed. The lake holds a wide
variety of fish, including, rainbow and brown trout, catfish,
smallmouth and largemouth bass, crappie, bluegill, and kokanee
salmon. Noted by local fishermen for an excellent summer

Fishing Tips
- 50,000 Kokanee are
planted each, specifically to be caught. Excellent beginners
lake for kokanee anglers.
- Good population of
wild Browns can be found in Bullards Bar. Best chances are in
the spring in the north fork of the Yuba River Arm.
